Junior forward Amber Harris posted her fourth-consecutive double-double and junior center Ta’Shia Phillips and sophomore guard Tyeasha Moss each scored 14 points to lead the No. 14/12 Xavier University women’s basketball team in a 73-47 thrashing of La Salle on Saturday afternoon at Tom Gola Arena in Philadelphia. With the win, Xavier improves to 12-3 on the year while the Explorers slip to 5-13.
Xavier will return to action on Wednesday, January 20 when the team welcomes Saint Louis to Cintas Center. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
