Muskies Drop Fourth Straight
By Jay Skeldon, 2/22/2017

Despite a furious comeback attempt in the final minute of the game, the Xavier Musketeers came up short on the road against Seton Hall, falling 71-64. The loss marks the fourth straight for the Muskies who drop to 18-10 overall and 8-7 in the Big East. The last time the X-Men lost four consecutive was during the 2012-13 season. Trevon Blueitt returned to action for Xavier having missed the prior two games due to a sprained ankle. Blueitt finished with 14 points on 5-of-12 shooting. J.P. Macura led all XU scorers with 22 points while pulling down five rebounds. The road for the Muskies does not get any easier as it faces off against No. 22 Butler on Sunday, February 26 at Cintas Center. Game time is set for 3:30 pm.
