X-Men Blow Past Lipscomb
The No. 25 Xavier Musketeers knocked off visiting Lipscomb, 87-62, at Cintas Center on Saturday afternoon. Four Musketeers finished in double figures scoring, led by Paul Scruggs and Zach Freemantle who notched 15 points in the winning effort. With the win, XU advances its record to 7-1 while Lipscomb falls to 3-5.

Other key contributors for the Musketeers included Tyrique Jones who recorded 14 points and 10 rebounds, marking the senior forward's fourth double-double of the season. Naji Marshall rounded out the double-digit scorers for X with 13 points.
Also notable on Saturday was the debut of Xavier freshmen Daniel Ramsey and KyKy Tandy. The duo played in their first game as Musketeers after having sat out for the first 7 games due to injuries. Tandy excited the home crowd when he nailed his first shot attempted, a long 3-pointer at the top of the arc. Tandy and Ramsey finished with four and three points, respectively.
The Musketeers are back on the hardwood on Wednesday, December 4 when it hosts Green Bay at Cintas Center. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. Later in the week, XU will turn their focus to Crosstown rival, Cincinnati, who visits Cintas on Saturday in the 2019-20 Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout.
