Naji Marshall led all scorers with a career-high 31 points as the Xavier Musketeers secured the crown as king of the Queen City for another year as X knocked off the visiting Cincinnati Bearcats, 73-66, on Saturday evening before a standing room only crowd of 10,811 fans at Cintas Center. The win marks Xavier's fifth in the last seven games over the Bearcats in the Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout including eight straight Musketeer wins at Cintas. Marshall was clearly the best player on the court, taking over the game at times. Marshall's 31 points was the most by an XU players since Trevon Bluiett lit up UC for 40 three seasons ago.

Marshall added eight rebounds and three assists to go with his point total in the winning effort for X. He was joined in double-digits scoring by one other Musketeer - Tyrique Jones - who finished with 10 points and nine rebounds.

Xavier will have the next week off from games for exam week before returning to action next Saturday at Wake Forest in the Skip Prosser Classic in Winston-Salem.
