RPI top 50 wins

Postby Fansince87 » Tue Jan 22, 2008 11:33 pm

Did anyone but me notice that if X beats
Dayton and Umass, it will be 1 of 2/3 teams in the country with 6 or more top 50 wins?

That has to be the #1 thing the committee uses to seed teams (along with overall record).

I hate to be a downer, but... one game at a time, please.

Dayton has nothing to lose, really, in this game - away against a ranked opponent with 2 key players injured. It's going to be a battle, especially if X can't get a pretty good upper-hand pretty quickly, and then not let up.

I am pretty tired of considering what would happen if Sean Miller's uncle's cousin's daughter-in-law married Joe Hughes and, in anti-Romo like fashion, upped his point production from .5 to 3 pts. per game. It makes us sound like such a bunch of pretenders when we have to stretch for if-this-then-that scenarios.
