NBA drafts on potential, which is why Europeans get drafted and sent overseas for a couple years.

Not wishing Ed any ill, but he is not yet built to last in the NBA. Spends far too much time picking himself off the court after driving to the basket. An 82 game NBA schedule, plus possible playoffs, is cause for pause.

Pleased that Edmund selected X and a shame for this year's injuries. He has been a been a credit to the uniform.

However, if one cannot withstand the NCAA season, most NBA GM's could be a hesitant. That said, there is always a GM who overlooks the obvious and he could be drafted.

Hope to be wrong about the injury factor and that Edmond has a long and productive career. Merely being realistic.

For a little insight for the fans of my decision. The return time table of my injury was a too big of IF I return at this date I'll be fine.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Exactly. The last mock draft that I saw today showed the first senior being drafted in the 38th spot. Unfortunately it appears that there is no benefit to staying and completing their eligibility for those who want to make a career in basketball. The only advantage to staying is to complete their degree which doesn't seem to be high on the priority list for the top players.

Years ago the Bengals took a chance on one Anthony Munoz who had injuries in college. Worked out well for them. Won't know if it will work out if a team takes Ed but we'll see. Wish him luck.

Munoz was one of the best collegiate football lineman ever not sure if that is a good comparison. He will need need get stronger as well as shoot 3's. I'm assuming mom that he is probably close to graduating.

Munoz was a consensus All-American, and considered the best LT in college football. Ed has tons of upside, but as stated previously, lacks the body to endure an 82 game season, and also has a glaring weakness. He is a poor outside shooter. That being said, I have to believe he has received *****, whether legitimate or not, that he would be drafted in an acceptable spot to him.

Best of luck to him. I think Tre will definitely follow.

Best of Luck To Edmond and his future.
Glad he came to Xavier!
He is a good representation of the Program at Xavier.
See article below a little more insight to his decision.
