I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

A bit underwhelming but some big names in there that are projected to have down years so I dont think it was intentional. Preseason Tourney is one of the weakest we have been to in a few years. Need to bring hardware home.

I wonder how the SOS compares to the past few years. I would think it's in line. Also - Is it true we have not lost a non-conference game at Cintas since joining the Big East? That can't be right, can it? (I saw that mentioned on bigeastcoastbias.com today).

"As usual, Chris Mack and the Musketeers face a challenging slate in the nonconference portion of the season. It’s worth noting that Xavier is 41-8 in nonconference play since joining the Big East, with zero of those losses coming at Cintas Center. "

November 4 games in 18 days and none on Saturday or Sunday while December is 5 games within 18 days and 3 Saturdays in a row before Christmas....and that is 9 games out of the season 18 , so regular season/home season is half over by DEC 19th......seems like the games are jammed in or very compact scheduling.

There is no such thing as an "easy" game in NCAA which is why believing so creates upsets.
The schedule may be as demanding (on paper) than past seasons but it could very well be a silver lining to the dark cloud some are painting. It should be an opportunity to get the new "kids" familiar with the returning players.

What happened to Wake Forest? That series is not over yet so what happened to it?
