Muskies favored in Crosstown by.....

.......2.5. That seems about right to me, though UCless has had no tests against quality this season. Hard to tell how they react to their first strong opponent. Anyone know how our bench matches against theirs. That is often a difference maker. This will be a fabulous opportunity for both teams. Like our chances very much if we can get 35 or minutes fro Q.

UC is strong and their bench is deep yet a little young. They have plenty of guys that can score and rebound. Tough test today. We will need Tre for both halves and we must keep UC off the glass better than last year.

Keep hearing about this depth on Cincinnati. Easy to play 10-11 men vs. their competition. Im sure Micky C will tighten up the lineup today.

Agree with your points Bleed, but Jones will be the best rebounder on the court. Also, X has Gates at the 4 this year vs Bluiett, so that will help. X also shoots better at the line, including Goodin, which is huge, because he obviously has the ball a lot of the time. Additionally (as my homer side rears its ugly head again), few guys draw up better plays than CM. Two of the best ones in recent memory were the pass to SOM against AZ when he sealed their 7 footer in the SW 16, and Dee's Davis' trey in the Shootout 3 years ago with a minute to go.

Line apparently went up to 4, but has been steady at 2.5. I'll parlay that with a great Jai ali match.

Ken Pom has X winning 74-73.
If hone court is a +3 advantage, then UC is considered a slightly better team.
Hope the home court is the difference today.
