Check those water bottles because the team appears to be sleep walking these last few minutes. Well I guess they are playing for the first choice in the draft
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

This is getting pathetic. Almost like they are playing by a script.

Wow in the last 3 minutes xavier goes 0-2 from the floor including an air ball with 4 turnovers as the game goes from 57-57 to 67-57.

At home. Against DePaul. Really an all time new low. Yikes.

The last time DePaul won at X was in 1974.
Really pathetic performance.
Frankly this team has regressed.
I would be shocked if they win another game this year.
Tie game at a little over 3 minutes at 57.
To lose by double digits over the last 3 minutes on your home court is inexcusable.

DePaul simply out hustled X.
Look at all of the stats that reflect that -

2nd chance points -
DePaul 18
X 2

Fast break points -
DePaul 14
X 2

Pts off TO's
DePaul 15
X 8

Offensive boards
DePaul 14
X 8

Really sad. You know all year I’ve been defending this team saying that while yes they’re less talented than last year and their collective b-ball IQ isn’t great, I still loved their fight and effort.

But frankly the end of that game was embarrassing. To get blown off your home floor by the perennial basement dwellers of the big east is just sad and shameful.

Castlin, Welage and Harden combined to play 40 minutes
Here is their combined line
0-2 from 3
1-1 from 2 - Welage
3 rebound - Welage (1) Castlin (2)
1 assist - Welage

X's invisible men.

Not one of the starters should have been in the game in the last minute to pad personal stats. They should have been made to sit on the bench and stare at the scoreboard. The game was over and they should have been forced to accept it while others hustled on the court.

No leadership either in uniform or suit and tie for the Muskies. Embarrassing. Two more years of this sounds fun...
