Good win... Tied for 3rd in the BE... Who'd da thunk it a couple of weeks ago???... Dan
Yep - no one on this board did and that includes me.
There were several posts saying that X would not win another game this year after the DePaul loss and I was one of them.
Just goes to show that at the end of the day all of us don't know *****.

Just keep pounding inside. No answers.

I have never seen a visiting team get the whistle we have gotten tonight. All the calls going our way. Love it.
Simple equation. Don't foul, and they don't call fouls against you. Kind of like don't schedule more than 5 games against major teams per year, and your record will be great....though you'll probably flame out early in the tourney.

Castlin has zero offensive game but that was a huge put back on the offensive boards.
I went to a sports bar to watch it with a former classmate, and we both lamented Castlin being in. However, that was an outstanding putback.

Jeez us.
Up 7 with 46 seconds left.
Not over.
Cmon guys
X has to handle the press better. No Tulsa, Wic States, or SMUs in this league.

Double T's on SJU.
But Marshall only makes 1 of 3 from the line.
X up 73-59 with 3:45/
Got to play 40 minutes
Finish strong.
Steele has had the Midas touch the last few games, but why the hell wasn't Scruggs taking the free throws?

St John's stinks. Very sloppy.

We should roll.
Agreed. They'd be 2nd place in the AAC though. Their 3 wins against Marquette 2x and Nova once is better than the 2nd place team in that league. Ole Miss is their only good win. Must be nice to play in a mid-major league.
UC troll Sweet - what would be sweet is if USucks didn't win their conference tournament and didn't get a tournament bid. Mid major conferences like the AAU conference just gets one team in.

Great f'in game.
Marshall - great game.
Castlin - unsung hero with 6 pts including 4-4 from the line
And couple of 3's from Welage.
Those guys did step up tonight.
Another great team victory
Though he isn't ready, much less talented guys have entered the draft. I'm sure he'll test the waters, but I hope he listens to the scouts, who will undoubtedly tell him he needs one more year. He'll be one of the top 5 candidates for POY next year.

Yea...that was a WTF moment. Couldn't recall if Welage was in or not but either he or Scruggs should have been shooting those FT's, IMO

St X would be the 4th seeded team in that league tourney. The BE is down this year, but Houston would have 4-5 league losses by now.

Has shot 40% from 3 the last 5 games. 19-48. Don't think he is NBA ready yet but he put can certainly put away his coloring book and crayons for now.
