Nice! Kyky should rank even higher. I thought Miles was destined to red shirt, and still hope he does if Freemantle is good enough to guard tall post players.

This is interesting. I’m pretty sure rivals has had bishop and Ramsey as our top two the whole time. Will be interesting to see where they land tomorrow.

Miles over Ramsey is very surprising.

Because Miles. Issued most of his Junior year, and didn’t do much in the summer last year, he was pretty much of an unknown outside of a small group of coaches. I’m sure that had much to do with his ranking coming into the season and were he stood when he committed to X. After seeing how he finished the season, and with the realization that he is still very young, I expect him to improve in leaps and bounds over this summer. I’m not so sure he will be redshirted this next year unless X somehow uses that last scholly on a JUCO center that is ready to play.

Do any of these rating services view these rankings versus actual performance following freshman and sophomore year of college? I would love to know how accurate they are with predicting future success.

I’m sure if you look at it on the scale of “is the 20th ranked guy sometimes not as good as the 70th ranked guy” it probably happens a lot. But if you consider the hundreds of thousands of high school b-ball players each year and see how many of their top 150 end up being top players it would look pretty darn good.
