Siena thread 11/8

Postby longliveskip » Fri Nov 08, 2019 1:11 pm

wouldn't be surprised if this game turned out way closer than people think.

not even sure on the spread but i'm guessing this comes down to 1 or 2 possessions.

can't afford to take them lightly. they can beat us if we aren't careful.

Hope you are wrong, but based on our 3pt shooting so far, I tend to agree with you. Maybe we turn it around tonite!

X by 19-20 is what Vegas says. I'm expecting us to cover.
Xavier always goes to the NCAA tournament, and almost always makes some noise while there. Projecting anything less than that this season feels like folly--Eamonn Brennan (ESPN Summer Shootaround, 2012)

Xavier giving 20.5 to Siena seems like a lot.

Yikes and Scruggs is out. This has shootout game written all over it and it’s might be tough for our offense to out shoot them without Scruggs.

Do we not have a better option than Schrand? If I see another 25 foot Marshall 3 with 20 secs left in shot clock I'm going to lose it. Time for Q to do something, he looks lost.

It looks as though Steele is going to let Naji continue to be careless.

Freemantel giving hustle and sticking with it earns a trip to the line
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Naj get's a three and then a drive and collects a foul. 12 -0 run for X. They are double teaming Jones and X needs to find the open man. Fouls are piling up for Siena

I like it when Naji drives and forgets the spin move to the rim. He glides when he just lays it in.
