Thought I’d write this one up because I’ve been seeing a couple of people getting over towards the Fire Travis Steele camp. Here’s an open letter to those people.

Re: To Everyone Losing Faith in Travis Steele
Bad article.
Steele is 0-2 in making the Dance.
And lets face the facts, despite the Covid issues, the schedule has worked out for X in a major way. 11 home games compared to 3 on the road. 5 home cupcakes to start the season. We also avoid playing Villanova this year.
Steele has a lot to prove.

Never said he needs to be fired but I don’t many that in my Xavier circle, but we also aren’t not use to missing the tourney, mismanaging games, and floundering down the stretch. Three years without a tourney bid should be time for concern and please don’t tell how great of a recruiter he is.

Yet again, still right here if you want to discuss! He wasn’t given anything to work with when he took the job, and now that he finally does, the ball is moving better and they’re hitting more shots. There’s a lot of young talent on that roster and Steele is absolutely the guy to utilize that best.skyhops wrote: ↑Mon Feb 15, 2021 6:52 pmNever said he needs to be fired but I don’t many that in my Xavier circle, but we also aren’t not use to missing the tourney, mismanaging games, and floundering down the stretch. Team is soft and that is the first time in years we have said that. A talented roster would not have Carter starting at PF.
