Jalen Bridges 6'7" SF 2020 from Fairmont, WV 3 star was offered by X. National rank 195
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Re: Recruiting thread
Considering the fact that his ranking hovers around Kennedy's and James, I'm not thrilled on the surface. However, there are one of two things at play here. They have no depth at the tall wing position this year, and Marshall is most certainly gone whether he is ready or not next year due to his age, so that may make him worth the risk.
The other, preferable scenario is that he is like Jaxson Hayes, is a late bloomer who is just starting to show his potential. Please let it be the latter.

Xavier’s Travis Steele will visit four-star junior Ben Carlson,

I hope Travis is "on his game" for that visit. 247 is projecting Ben to Stanford as a 60% likelihood. He's rated #69 nationally overall for the class of 2020.
Fathers James Hoff and Michael Graham, AD Mike Bobinski, and Head Coaches Staak, Gillen, Prosser, Matta, Miller, & Mack represent a Golden Era of Xavier Men's Basketball. AD Christopher and Head Coach Steele will bring us to an even higher level!

Re: Recruiting thread
Who knows where he will go but those 247 likelihood percentages are not updated often. For example, X is also going after Darson Garcia (6'10 stretch 4 rated #30). He has had Marquette listed at 50% since his visit in Jan. Sean Miller made an in-home visit with him recently and that appears to be his favorite. Carlson would be a very good get. He visited Cintas during the Villanova game I believe with six other recruits or commitments when X made their offer.muskienick wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2019 9:14 amI hope Travis is "on his game" for that visit. 247 is projecting Ben to Stanford as a 60% likelihood. The Univ of Clifton Heights Avondale wanted Harden, but he chose to go to a conference where their championship game attracts more people than the average Friday night fish fry dinner at a grade school during Lent.

XU target Donovan Johnson went off for 25 points on 8-for-10 shooting, including 4-for-5 from behind the three-point stripe last night in Texas.

Referring to UC as the "Univ of Clifton Heights Avondale" is as ignorant as people that refer to Xavier as Eggs-avier. We don't need to tear other people down to make ourselves feel better. I would hope our fan base would be above that.Anti-Homer wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2019 4:27 pm

We have the more successful basketball program and are in a better conference, isn't that enough? Why do we have to resort to childest behavior that is never appropriate?
