I don't think we could have asked for a better season. It did not end the way we would have hoped. But the future is lookin great. I hope Sean lives up to his post game comment's that he is committed to XU. I know we heard that from Thad but I think Sean is different.

hey everybody im a first time poster as most people would agree i think the seniors this year have brought this program to a new level. they showed everyone throughout the nation what xavier basketball is all about . they played with heart and passion and played as hared as they could everytime they came out on the floor. they will be missed and at the same time remembered. thanks drew stanley and josh.

When Sean pulled the seniors, I noted that "next year's team" was on the floor. I am sure he was planting seeds for being competitive in the 2008-9 season.

I remember being so aprehensive before this season started about whether we could replace Cage, Dollman and Cole. Ha! We had guards back, and that was the glue. We are going to be overloaded in the front court with role players and size and a base for rebounding. Who will be the glue, who will be the go-to guys?
Sean will find them, motivate them, mold them.

It is still a great day to be a Muskie.

What an incredible ride this season has been!

No question that it was painful to watch when the shots just would not fall against UCLA, but the emotion I felt most at the end of that game was not disappointment, but pride.

I want want to extend a sincere "Thank You" to each and every player, Coach and trainer, to Sister Rose and to everybody else involved in the program. A special thank you to the Seniors.

Whenever any discussion of great Xavier basketball games or players occurs in the future, this season and these players have to be part of it.

We are X.U. . . . and we are very proud today.
