I'll start with the stats first and give you the player at the end.
This player has averaged 24.2 minutes over the last 8 games, all of which he's started.
Prior to being a starter, his team was 9-3. As a starter, they have gone 3-5.
He scored 12 points over that 8 game period (1.5 PPG for you non-math guys).
He's taken 20 shots, and made 4 (20% from the field...)
Of his 20 shots, NINETEEN have been from 3. that means he's taken ONE 2 pt attempt over his last 195 minutes played. He's only taken 3 all year.
He has not taken a FT all year. Thats 239 minutes of PT without getting to the line.
on the season, he's got more fouls (28) than pts (23)
He's got 29 reb's, and 13 of them came in 3 games.
He's a PG and has an amazing 4-1 Asst / TO ratio (16/4)
He does have a block.
Who is he....................................
Churchill Odia.
Aside from the fact that I don't care for the player, i do want to make it very clear that I'm simply amazed by that stat line, which is why i posted this. I cannot imagine a more interesting combination of stats.

Hettel-
The next thing you’ll ask us to do is to name the switch hitter that won the 1971 AL MVP…..
Good post, I’ve kept an eye on him myself. Looks like he's a non-factor at this level.

<<As a starter, they have gone 3-5.>>
I'm not arguing in any way that Odia hasn't panned out the way anyone (especially him) thought he would. But in defense of his record as a starter, didn't he take the place of one of Oregon's best players due to an injury? If so, that record is probably due more to what was lost from the lineup than what Odia has or has not contributed.
