then again what is more important with or without shoes? No one plays without shoes.
When you go to the doctors office do they tell you to take off your shoes? Does the quick market lady tell the robber as he passes by the door to take off his shoes. Most people list their height with shoes.

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Here we go with the height again. This morning's article in the Enquierer lists Derrick Brown as 6'6". Say what? He was listed as 6'7" as a freshman, 6'8" as a sophomore last year and now 6'6"? By NBA (i.e. real height) standards, the 6'6" is probably the most correct. Boy can he jump though.

mm, of course, the guys play in shoes. But why not list their actual height? The only reason teams measure guys in shoes and then use that height is to list their players taller than they actually are.
But if everybody's doing it, why do it at all? There's no advantage to be gained, except for the PR advantage of saying you've got a 6'9", 6'8", 6'7" front line when actually each guy is at least an inch shorter.
It's silly. It's like teams releasing tickets sold as the attendance instead of bodies in the seats. We can all count, and we can all look around and see "fans" disguised as empty seats.
