UMass (1-0) plays Southern Illinois in the 2nd round of the Coaches for Cancer tournament tonight, with the winner going on to Madison Square Garden for the semis and finals.

URI plays Duke this Sunday, at Cameron, of course.

It would be nice to see the league get quite a few big OOC wins like we did last season. It will only help us in the long run and continue to boost the league's image....

Hopefully, our PG candidates (especially Holloway) can pick up the position as quickly as Derrick Rose did last year for Memphis (and, yes, I know they're not on that level athletically, but in terms of running a high-major Div. I team).

Minutemen 4 point underdog on the morning line. Would like to see them win this game on the road for several selfish reasons, but if Carlton Fay gets going in the post, could be a tough night in Carbondale.
