Out of towner TV?
Anyone know of any way those of us not in the FSN Ohio region can watch the Muskies tonight online? I know Friday there was the big channelsurfing.net letdown and the game for tonight isn't listed. Anyone know of any other sites or maybe an online package one could purchase?

Re: Out of towner TV?
only thing i can suggest is that direct tv has a package with espnU, CBS sports channel and other sports channels that will carry every X game this year. I don't know if cable offers a similar package i would assume so because these are channels most suppliers should have, if so look into that and you would be relegated to just hoping it comes on the computer

Probably does not help you, but there may be a good sign for central Ohio TWC customers. I have been up here for 3 years now. What I found out was that TWC carries the games UNLESS a Cavs or Blue Jackets game is scheduled. They do have an "alternate channel" but only once was the Xavier game on it; usually it is just a test pattern. I got excited but the next time was back to normal ... test pattern.
But luckily I checked for the IPFW game and there it was on the alternate with the Blue Jackets on primary! And I have checked back and they still are showing Fox programming there. I am hoping that will continue and when there is a conflicted game on, it will again appear there. But I know better than to get too excited. Fortunately I am 99% sure it will be on the regular channel tonight as there appear to be no conflicts.
For what it is worth, the channel lineup here is that the regular channel is on 52 and the alternate is on 72. But assume that can be different in different parts of the region as we are in the area affectionately known as "formerly Adelphia" (they went bankrupt and didn't have a bailout). It is a challenge and that makes it more fun!

It's just what somebody thinks ...
