I take Boum over Odom everyday
Yes, Souley is the missing piece and he is NOT missing! Go X!

I don't think anyone was saying to take Odom over Baum. It was about having both.

I could see Kunkel coming off the Bench with Baum playing SG and Odom at PG or could see Odom off the bench with Kunkel starting at SG. I'm sure Miller prefers guards that can shoot but I suspect he could work with a guy with elite athleticism. The 1 to 1 assist to TO isn't ideal but he is also getting half a block, a steal and 6 rebounds a game. For X, he would have been more a distributor and less of a scorer so his numbers would be very different.

Hopefully Claude continues his improvement and is able to provide the defensive intensity Odom would have given X. Claude has a very bright future and his contributions to date have already been big.

Idisagree. With Souley there I don’t believe that Odom would fit. I do agree re Claude. He is better with every game - Just as Sean said he would be.

I liked Odom but Boum is heads and shoulders better.I think he is going to be the difference maker this year. He's a vast improvement over Scruggs too although Paul may have benefitted from playing under Miller.

I think Miller would have been great for Scruggs most likely having him play the 2 and playing lockdown defense. Happy for Odom although we could use him. Miller likes players that can shoot, but Georgia State is a good spot for him.

Scruggs and many others from the past several years would have benefited from Miller as coach. Xavier fans would have also benefited.

There was little development and in some cases regression of players over the past several years. Disciplined players tend to lose discipline when surrounded by guys taking shots they should not take. What is the point of working for a better shot or running the offense if everyone is just going to jack up a shot?
