Re: Creighton Game thread
Fab points and love your sarcasm on some 'Skip. But alas, all you have done is guaranteed about seventeen more vapid posts by XM2003. Instead of making him go into yet another 2 week time out, I say we let him continue to entertain us with his one-trick-pony act. (cuz he makes me laugh). But ONLY under one condition Mods: That being, he has to privately validate to a Mod that he did have a verifiable association with Xavier University in and around the fine year of 2003. Otherwise, he is a fraudulent troll, and Homie don't play dat....

Kalkbrenner shoots at an incredibly efficient rate (75%), beyond that, he and Nunge are quite comparable. Nunge shoots at 52% but I suspect he shoots significantly more 3s, which he converts at 39%.
Kalk scores 1 point per game more and an extra block per game. Nunge leads in assists, steals and rebounds.
Stats don't tell the full story but the game becomes much more interesting if Nunge doesn't get hit with the BS over the back call early in the first half.
In the prior matchup Nunge gets a 12 to 8 rebounding advantage. Even on blocks and points. Nunge with 1 TO vs 0 for Kalk. 3 to 1 steal and 4 to 3 assist advantage for Kalk.
I suspect the big difference between the 2 might be consistency. Shooting 75% doesn't allow for bad offensive games. Nunge has had 3 or 4 bad games this year.

Agreed. Kalk is clearly better. Shooting the three is the only thing Nunge does better. Love having him on the team, but he ain't near the shot blocker nor shot changer that Kalk is. He is also very disciplined on D. Kalk shoots at a ridiculously high clip, and not everything is around the rim. Nunge is more athletic.Stats don't tell the full story
