I am not sure X loses 9 players. We have lost 4 players so far, and with Colby going to the NBA, that is five. We lose Adam and Souley, that is seven. We may lose Jack OR Zack, but I have the feeling talking to people that Zack may be back, although it will probably be determined how much Sean recruits for that position. I thought he was gone after his injury, but a number of people I respect say he is not necessarily willing to go out like he did last year and likes what he has here. Besides if he enters the portal, his rehab would be at his cost, not Xavier's, and that might be the deciding factor. I still believe he has a mercurial personality and anything decided today might change tomorrow. Remember everyone thought he was gone last year and he never announced he was leaving or staying. I believe Kam is coming back, or he would have been in with the first group I also hear his interview at the end of the season went really well.

If Zack stays and is ready to go, we might have Des and maybe even Kam as starters with maybe a couple of freshmen, as for our freshmen we are looking at a group that has far better talent than we have seen in a long time or a freshman and a couple of transfers with Kam off the bench. Yes, the bench will be new but remember what Sean did with the group this year, and he is not going after guys that don't fit his OKG profiles.
