Xavier men were down 3-2 in the 9th inning but scored 5 runs and went on to win 7-3 Jack Housinger hits a triple to score the go-ahead runs. Jack had played UConn in the championship game the last two years but with losses, so it was a big win for him. Xavier Baseball wins its fourth BIG EAST Championship with a win over UConn, earning the program's fifth berth to the NCAA Tournament! For the first time since 2017, the Musketeers are dancing!

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

X will play OREGON on Friday in Nashville. Xavier began their season against Oregon in Eugene, and X was swept in four games. The winner on Friday plays the winner of Vanderbilt/Eastern Illinois on Saturday, while the loser plays the loser of that game also on Saturday. The tourney is a Double-elimination, which is the same format as the Big East Tournament.
