I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Xavier can hold the best record in Match but all that matters is championships. Xavier has to get to a final 4 very soon. Xavier is by far the best team in the nation outside of the Big 6. They are better than almost all of those teams. Xavier is one of the best programs in the past 20 years but they still don't have that banner that says National champs or Final Four. If Xavier could join a Big 6 conference they just might be National Champs.

Theo the coaches past and present have done it the right way...hard work pays off in the end,

Not so fast, I don't want to be a downer but X is not quite at the level of Memphis overall or at Gonzaga's level of tournament success. Hell until they get to the final four I don't think they can even say they have a better program than George Mason. I'm not trying to blast our beloved alma mater, I'm just saying we shouldn't be crowning them yet.

Biff, is that you? It's been years. I recognize the cogent argument. Great to hear from you.
Consider this: when our beloved Musketeers sweep the tournament this year, it will be their second championship in 50 years. How sweet to celebrate the 1958 anniversary with another stellar victory from the little school that could. Twice in 50 years is possible and what a record given the nature of a small Jesuit University in the midwest. I remain proud that they are even in the position to assert the potential for that lofty goal.
Stay in touch, Biff.

To say that Xavier has not had as much NCAA success as George Mason is simply ridiculous. You are taking a one time event for GM while ignoring the collective success of X in the tournament. Flawed logic for a X alum.
Good as drink is, it ends in thirst.
