Academic Final 6

Postby WCWIII » Mon Mar 17, 2008 8:59 pm

From SI Story

Academically, this year the Final Four would include five teams: Western Kentucky (100 percent graduation success), Butler (92 percent), Notre Dame (91 percent), Purdue (91 percent), and Davidson (91 percent). Xavier, a No. 3 seed, was close behind with a 90 percent success rate.

Not quite "Graduated every senior since 1985" but still good props (and we beat Duke and Stanford according to this measure).

Actually, Every Student/player that has been a Senior at Xavier has graduated (70plus) unlike some schools that have their players drop out or don't finish after their eligibility runs out. Players leave before their senior years for many reasons...just like Drew when he had a death in his family and wanted to move back home.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.
