I would love to see Huggins put a whooping on Duke and then face the Muskies again. Although, I feel like I would rather play Duke in the Sweet 16 because they honestly don't scare me like Duke teams of the past. Huggins' teams are known for being extremely physical, and I don't feel the Muskies match up well against teams of this nature. That is one reason the Georgia game scares me a bit. 2nd round match will definitely be our easiest, followed by a Sweet 16 match-up providing us an opportunity to either face an old foe or avenge an Elite 8 loss to my most hated team in college bball.

A matchup with Huggs would be nice but everyone wants to beat Duke particularly in the tournament.Plus we owe them for '87 and '04.This is not a particularly great Duke team.

My hope is that we get back to the Elite 8 someday and have to go not around or past Duke, but through them and over them. That's what I look forward to.

However, the reason for my post is to see if someone can give me a REASON why the Duke Flop in a close game would NOT work for them this year, should we face them...

What has changed?
I don't think "It's XU's time" is a valid reason...LOL

To my knowledge, a ref still get's less money to ref an A-10 game then an ACC game....Until that changes, any A-10 is apt to get hosed by a call or 2 or 3 or 4 at the end of a close game when going up an ACC game. (This is relevant because a ref wants to ref ACC games going forward...)
