Perhaps we should be thanking Dickie V and all the other so called experts who worship the BCS conferences. Without all the hype on schools like Duke, there is no way Duke would have been a 2 seed. They clearly should have been a 3 or 4 seed but because of the hype, Duke got the higher seed, XU is now the benefactor playing a #7 seed rather than looking at a team like Tennessee, Georgetown or Texas.

Funny how things work out!!

Duke was 7th in RPI, had a SOS of 8, 7-4 against top 50 and had 14 top 100 wins.... I dislike Duke as much as anyone and don't think they were a great team this year; however, resume-wise they deserved a 2 seed (though you could argue that Wisconsin should have had a 2 over Duke, they were a pretty legitimate 2).
