It wasn't me. But it's common knowledge that D Brown would have stayed if Miller had.
First I have never heard of that. However, if true, wouldn't it then be Miller's fault, because he left?

Never ceases to amaze me how people on this board know the things they do..... :?:

I don't think you can blame Mack for Brown leaving. It is possible that he would have stayed another year if Miller didn't go but that would be Miller's fault, not Mack's.

I think some posts have gotten quite immature with the fake blame Mack for everything. I have kept my criticism to game situations. It is fine that some disagree with my view but it is annoying that some extrapolate comments to mean more and sometimes something entirely different than the actual statements.

Congratulations to Brown. I hope he continues to improve and show the league what he is capable of. I said he would be better than Posey when he first entered the league if he got to stick around a few years. The lack of talent on his team has given him the opportunity so we will see if he can prove me correct. I'm a bit doubtful at this point because he still hasn't shown much offensive aggressiveness but there were flashes of it.

31, I agree re DBrown's lack of aggressiveness. I know he's had several coaches in the NBA, but maybe Mike Dunlap (if Brown stays with Charlotte) can light DBrown's fire, and get that talent to come out consistently.

That is true regarding DBrown not staying his senior year. He and Miller were always very tight. Glad he is having a great NBA career.

As we all should know by now, it's increasingly commong for guys to leave after 1-2-3 years in school, and more and more commentators are taking the position that you only cost yourself $$$ by sticking around for your final season.

So, to lay Brown's leaving at Mack's feet is a little disingenuous, IMHO. And he's not having a "great" NBA career. He's gotten to the point where he seems like a dependable backup, which is fine, but by no means "great".
