First of all...even if they make that call UCLA still wins the game 95% of the time.

Secondly...guys...Simers is making fun of UCLA! He hates UCLA and loves U$C.

For the record, UCLA was not one call away from going down. A&M was down by two. If a foul had been called, the A&M player would have had to make 2 free throws, and he was only a 67% FT shooter. Plus UCLA had enough time for a final shot. And if it did go to OT, UCLA had all the momentum at that point, so they likely would have won.

With the technicalities out of the way, I have a funny story to share with you guys. I actually have cheered for Xavier before, but it was a few years ago in Las Vegas. I was there with some buddies for the tournament weekend. We were watching all the games, and one of the games was Xavier-Louisville (I think). There was a loud, obnoxious group of Louisville fans in the sportsbook that was getting riled up as Louisville built a good lead. But then Xavier made a run, and we decided we'd try to even out the cheering so we started cheering like mad for Xavier (several beers in us didn't hurt, either). The Louisville fans started looking over their shoulders like "where did those guys come from?" Xavier won the game and now we always watch to see if Xavier makes the tournament so we have another team to cheer for.

But I'll be cheering for UCLA tomorrow. Here's to a good game.

This is going to be a very very tough game. My heart says Xavier wins but my head says this is the end of the road for our beloved muskies. UCLA can be beat but I am just not sure Xavier can pull this out.

The game is obviously the biggest of the year, so I'm extremely excited to see how Duncan and CJ perform. I say Duncan for obvious reaons, he has been our most valuable asset as of late. I say CJ, however, because we have seen him raise his game while in the spot light. While we will be hard pressed to even contain K Love, I think CJ's performance is essential to our victory. I believe his slashing style can get some of their guys in foul trouble. If our other guys bring their usual games, I truely believe we can pull this out. I agree with the above post, with the heart and brain part, but I also believe we match up alot better than anyone in the media is giving us credit for, so when we win, I will not be suprised at all! Here's to our first final four birth!
