Nova goes down. Great road win. Freemantle and Boum were awesome. Boum doesn't miss foul shots .Boum with a double double and Freemantle too. Nunge with a very tough game and we still won. Great job guys. Go X.

Great win! I will be proud to wear my X swag around the State of Connecticut. We all have been tough on Freemantle in recent years, including me, but we do not win this game without him. Miller has worked magic on his his BB IQ. I give the game ball to Miller, Jones and Freemantle. Miller for obvious reasons and Jones for the job he did on Daniels. I have watched Daniels and he loves to back people down but he could not do that to Jones. Despite making some late game treys I think Daniels was a none factor for much of the game. What can you say about Souley? We are not the same team without him. Jack was in outer space for much of the game but we won despite that. Miller has installed great confidence and belief in his players
Even Hunter who cannot dribble, shoot or pass is making a contribution.players. Those guys believe in him and so do I. GO X

Souley's line today: 22 points 5-8 from the field 2-4 from the three and 10 or 10 from the line OH and 10 rebounds and 6 assists...
Zack's line: 29 points 12-17 from the field 2-2 from three and 11 rebounds, NO turnovers. 1 steal and very decent Defense
Adam line: 15 points 4-6 from the field, 3-4 from three, 5 rebounds

I watched the game a second time in a more relaxed mode knowing the outcome. The only negative was our inability to handle V's pressure at the end. X's foul shooting saved the day. MM has rightfully renamed Freemantle Mr. Double Double. Boy did he hit big shots at the end. I am so happy to have that Monkey off our backs. Now on to Marquette and Creighton for more Big East wars!! Oh! one more thing. Am I just dreaming or is our half court defense getting better? Particularly covering ball screens.
