when we score we don't stop them. When we go cold they still score Down 7 and X's season looks like it is circling. Des has 4 fouls and only one playing is Quincy. Love Swain but he needs to shoot the ball when he is in the scoring area. They look like they don't know who to throw the ball to all night.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

This team has no passion for the game. Claude cares but unfortunately is an offensive disaster recently and today hasn't been great on D. Swain gets after it but his offensive ability is limited. Some of the bigs have stone feet. The guards don't defend the 3 nor the drive.

X has wasted a 6 game homestand. Players are hesitant to shoot even on layups. They play like this not being able to score or defend

Yes, QO has 28 points but Trent has 27

So disappointed.

Time for a closed team meeting but we have no Chalmers or Scruggs

This is painful to watch. No flow on offense. Players don't really trust one another. Defensively the team is terrible. Played solid D against Purdue and good against Oakland but all other games were terrible defensive efforts. Any defensive success in games this year was the result of teams missing shots.

Sean needs to figure out how to reach these guys or find 7 guys that play hard and play together.

Totally agree with pdmuskie. This was just awful. Totally schooled by Delaware. Sean was out coached. Our players were bad but so was he. Our big guys are terrible on both sides of the ball. We cannot guard on the perimeter and never took advantage of our size down low but maybe that was because they are not good in the post. We need to find cohesion some way or it is going get real ugly. I am not sold on this fast pace offense. We are not disciplined enough to play that style. Depressed in Connecticut.

Players should have to take a basketball and carry it wherever they go. Don't put it down even in the shower and include sleeping ith it. Learn that the ball is their most precious object. This team shot a higher percentage but shot the ball 11 fewer times than Delaware.

I thought the game momentum changed when Swain missed an open dunk because he wanted to windmill it in.

11 assists in the first half but only 4 in the second. Second half they decided that they didn't want to play together, except QO. What did Sean say to them at halftime because this team came acting like it was their first practice of the year with all new guys that don't know how to play the game. Maybe Sean should forget the podcast and coach's show and work on how to right this sinking ship.

You'd think a team that just went toe-to-toe with maybe the best team in college ball would show more heart and confidence? Only two guys who seem to give a damn are Ousmane and Olivari.

Des reminds me of Paul Scruggs - all the athletic gifts in the world but low bb iq and incapable of consistently being "that guy".

Assuming Green was not 100% but I hope we see A LOT more of him over McKnight when he's healthy because at least he can shoot.

We're gonna need A LOT more of Gytis and Lazar if this team has any postseason plans. They can shoot, run some pick & pop!

We just can't get out of our own way. Swain steals the ball and misses a dunk to go up seven and then they score four in a row. Up two in second half with momentum and out guards turn it over 3 straight times for 3 layups game over. Why in the did Miller keep McNight guarding their scorer? The bigs are slow and not talented and please tell Oshmane to not put the ball down in the paint. We have sold at Home to teams and these runs are ridiculous. This is the least talented team I have seen since I've been watching X. We have recruited Euro's that can't shoot? We might sneak 4 games in BE.

There is nothing positive to say about this year , so far !!! This year may be really ugly as far as a won loss record. Based on the games played so far , there is NO reason to think X will be in March Madness. (oops there may be one bright point....this season was sold out early, but next season there will be plenty of seats available for half price)

"We're a leaderless team." - Quincy Olivari after the loss.
