Waiting to get a 3 point shot at the buzzer is fools gold. Drive to the basket.

We are almost at half court on offense. Move in.

Swain hurt, Freemantle fouls out, and X missing the front end of 1 and 1 is not a recipe for success, especially down 8

ANd refs bailing out St Johns with the phantom fouls
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Same as last game. Great first half and than blowing a big second half lead. Freemantle really struggled the last 10 minutes. We seem to lose our aggressiveness in the second half. Instead of attacking it's more like hanging on. The Refs missed a couple calls but you play timid you end up hoping to win instead of deciding who wins.

X won five wars tonight, and St Johns won five. The difference was that St Johns won the last four and then the overtime. McKnight had a bad foul-shooting and offensive night, but SJ hounded him all night. Swain's injury was significant, and if it turns out to be really bad, X is in big trouble again. Someone needs to figure out why X has such bad luck with injuries. State of the game Sj had twice as many rebounds as X.

They had it and then they didn't have it.

the refs were downright bad. If you let one team push and grab and then call it on the other team, frustration begins. SJ's attitude in games is to be physical and not worry about fouls because the refs will only catch a few of them. I have watched them all year and they get the calls in most games. X was tired at the end of the game because of pressure and you could see it with missed shots that fell early in the game

The starters all played at least 36 minutes except for Swain who had 32 because he got hurt. The aggressive team won. Ran out of steam again.

Look… the refs gave St Johns 14ish points tonight. Xavier is the better team. The refs got swain hurt. Hard to watch.

Our bench is awful. Miller misused his timeouts again and not running plays to get a hoop and break the momentum were again a problem. Officiating was bad but we have an old team that continues to fold under pressure. Foster made bone head mistakes and Hunter is a liability. Free struggles in crunch time. Disappointing
