I don't care what the record is, GW played a great game and made shots that you would ordinarily expect them to miss. They had a sellout crowd and, from experience being there, they are loud. They probably played their best game of the year and Xavier still won.
This, as every road win is, is huge. It is so hard to win league games on the road regardless of who you're playing. Think not? Ask Mississippi today who lost to the same Auburn team that we beat by 20+.
So. We're 3-1 after the first 4- half on the road. Go through the next three 4 game segments at 3-1 and we're 12-4 in the league. That'll be good enough for a championship.
Keep it strapped up and hold on to your hats. The roller coaster ride is a long way from being over.

Re: Solid win at GW
I actually disagree. I don't think Stan has lost confidence in his shooting, I just think he has gotten good enough with the ball that he almost always thinks he can create a better shot than a 19-footer. Frankly, I think people are making too much of his non-shooting. I'd like to see him pop an open shot, but he's not really wide open all that often. He had 4 assists yesterday but if some guys had hit open shots he'd have had closer to 8. Would I love for SB to break out with a 20-pt game on good shots? Absolutely. But would I rather see him pass up an occasional shot to try to get the ball in the paint (something he seems more willing to do that even Drew), as opposed to taking the bad shots he took earlier in his career? No doubt.wkrq59 wrote: Of concern: Stanley appears to have lost all confidence in his shooting.
