Re: Zags game thread
I agree Miles and Edwards are a conundrum for X fans, but I am sure Sean has an idea of who he trusts and what he wants to do. Face facts if Edwards was good enough to play he would be playing, and if Edwards showed he was better than Miles he would be the one to go to, so Sean has some difficulties AT THIS MOMENT in time with Edwards. An injury might force his hand to play him, but maybe they are working on his game or body and don't want to throw him into a situation that would prove unsuccessful and hamper his progress.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Re: Zags game thread
I believe I started the debate over "good loss" so I will add that I simply meant the losses were to good teams and will not be huge black marks on the resume.
The losses were incredibly frustrating because they could have easily been wins. I expect Miller teams to generally finish on top in close games but he mostly inherited this team and hasn't had that long to make his mark. They are playing smarter than last year but more improvement is obviously needed.

PK Legacy Thoughts:
certainly i'm disappointed in the two losses as they were games we could have won. however, going 1-3 vs. the likes of IU, Florida, Duke, and Gonzaga with WVU and UC waiting in the wings, these next two are ones we can and should win, and going 3-3 vs that gauntlet is fine with me and we will be better for it heading into the Big East.
one stat i just saw - we are #2 in the country in the 3 pt shooting % at 46%.
that's incredible.
Sean will keep working on improving the defensive deficiencies this team has, but they can and will get better. only teams i've watched and am worried about in our league are UConn and Creighton. not saying we are gonna beat everyone else as i'm sure we will have a hiccup or two throughout but i'm more optimistic than i was before the IU game.
