My last rant for the evening.
Being in attendance for about 1/2 of the home games, I find it interesting that when Xavier comes out for pregame or 2H warm-ups, they look like they are an intramural pick up team. Never do they all wear the same warm-ups. I noticed today that Seton Hall all dressed in the same warm-ups just before the start of the 2H.
Now wearing the same warm-ups probably doesn't guarantee a victory but it is an indication of the lack of discipline that this team displays.

"Attitude reflects Leadership, Captain" as expressed by Julius Campbell to Gerry Bertier in Remember the Titans.
Steele is the captain and the attitude reflects his leadership.

And speaking of dress, while I'm not a huge fan of Kevin Willard, he was nattily dressed in a suit and tie today while Steele looked like another valued associate at my local Costco in Florence.

Before Steele , this Board would have been lit up with comments on WHATS HAPPENING, but the Xavier followers are loosing interest .
Funny even the tv announcers making fun our the dress code of our non coach looking like a vagrant. is this the end of a era of XAVIER BASKETBALL

This was about the low point for me as a fan .And if the play on the court wasn't bad enough the performance of the fans was equally bad. Which player is the leader of this team? Remember Chalmers going off on his team in 2004 after they got embarrassed by GW. It turned that team around.

For the first time in my life I’m hoping X loses out , this will force Christopher’s hand. Steele has to go and we need to start the rebuild, hopefully with Sean Miller.
Sorry MM I’ve seen enough.

NCAA may have something to say before Miller coaches again. He hasn't paid the piper for his transgression at AZ.

Neither Sutton or Pearl paid the piper... Not saying I want Steele back, but something has to change... Dan

There was apparently a minor transgression re: a random phone call . Nothing to see here. A smoking cannon means nothing. I have always said and still believe Miller was the best coach ever at X. If X makes a change, I would take him as a coach if he clears the 10 foot bump in the road.

Clifton Heights Cats lost on Sr Night to a 7-20 team. 7-20 in the AAC, a league comparable to the GCL. As low as this program descends, at least we still remain three notches above them. Small consolation, but that is one of the few bright spots in the last four years.

I agree with most of this, especially the part about not being unifomed the same way. I think it speaks to the overall lack of discipline in the program. He just seems really unaware in a lot of respects. His disconnected ramblings in interviews and CYO tactics which I believe even the players mock (GJ & Junkyard Dog Chain) are an embarrassment.

I don't agree about coaches being in suits. They aren't walking into a boardroom. However, his attire of a hoodie was a complete embarrassment. I think all the coaches should have the same athletic tops and khakis. I expect him to wear a " My FIL went to a BOT Meeting and All I Got was this Lousy 7 Figure Job" tee shirt on Sr Night.
