Quit shooting threes . Drive the ball . Go inside to hunter and Nunge. Take Boum out.
that will not happen Souley hits foul shots
THAT IS WHY SOULEY IS IN THE BALL GAME
Hinson is a stud
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

22 assists on 30 possions with only 8 TOs. Star of the game Colby only 10 points but 13 rebounds and 7 assists

Well ugly second half. Jones had 14 rebounds and 7 assists. That's unreal. Kunkel and Jones only had 2 points between them in the second half. We only made one three pointer in the second half. We missed a lot of free throws too. My man Edwards has lost his confidence. He is playing to tight. Afraid to make a mistake . All that said we are in the Sweet 16. Great coaching job and great season. Hope we have another good game left. Go X.

I was a little concerned that we may have slowed the tempo down a little early and lost some of our offensive fluidity but Sean is the man he knows. We made it interesting when we could not score or make free throws. Thank God for the big lead. Isn't it great to see X back on this stage. We have come a long way from the Schmidt Fieldhouse days. So proud of our Muskies. Muskie Madness continues. GO X!!!

I agree the tempo slowdown also slowed down the offense to the point that gave Pitt a chance. It was not that X played bad but their rhythm was interrupted. After all they increased their lead at the beginning of the second half. and were ahead by 20 with just over 7 minutes to go in the game. Just give us two games next week where X is up as much

Des learned and did well on the D, and his made FT after missing 4 helped X change the Pitt flow and hope.

Great win. X played very good defense most of the game. Pitt made some tough shots and a lot of well contested shots.

The change of pace may be partially responsible for the Pitt making a run but Nunge was on the bench allowing Pitt to attack the rim. Claude missing FTs also contributed as well as too many 3s by X. The 3s were certainly related to the change of pace but they were mostly good looks that simply didn't go down.

Despite shooting struggles from Deep and the line, Claude had a great game. He attacked the rim incredibly well. Also had some good defensive plays. Hopefully he is able to connect from deep next game but this the Claude we need to see every game.

Boum really struggled and took some shots he should not have. He did however come through in the end and was great on the glass and had an impressive assist to TO ratio. More importantly, Boum played better defense than normal. His defensive effort made a big difference.

Kunkel was on fire in the first. So fun to watch when he is splashing down from deep. He probably wished the first half never ended. His quick hands on D and vision on offense both were big reasons X built a huge lead.

Jones stat line is incredible. He needed more opportunities in the 2nd half. Miller should have gone to him more before Pitt started the fouling.

Nunge was big on defense and his team set him up well on offense. I'll ignore 1 of his turnovers as that charge should have been called a flop.

Hunter had another great game.

Basically, the whole team played well. Improve the 3 point shooting and FTs against Texas and I like our odds.

Des has very good feet. He gives very good effort on defense. We are going to need him next game.
