Yes they did. That and defense wins championships.

I'm liking this team win we get people at home or on neutral courts. The tournament draw will be critical. We don't need to draw a NC based team in a NC venue. Otherwise we play at least into the second weekend!
It's time for a bourbon on the rocks!

I was watching this game at Ryan's with several other students, and the atmosphere at the end of the game was incredible. The place was packed and the roof of the building almost blew off when Derrick put that tip in to win the game. Everyone was high fiving each other and hugging people they didn't know. This is really turning out to be a special season.

Poor vee, he was traveling and I was giving him a play by play of the last 2 minutes as he walked through an airport. (Maybe it's good that he didn't have to watch.)

Anyway, as I described this, he said the exact same thing. "...shade of D. West."

Finally, I appreciated my classmate Joe Sunderman as I tried to keep up for vee. But maybe Joe isn't enjoying 100 proof bourbon as I was. Now ... St. Joe's!
And I appreciated the play-by-play from bourbonman, expecially because Mrs. Vee fumbled the DVR. I really need to stay in C-bus the next time X plays at St. Louis.

I listened to the post game show on the way home and Sean sounded pretty positive overall, except for calling Brown's 40 foot pass that got intercepted a "bone-head play." But, he did give him one back for the winning tip.

Sunday should be a good one.
