Congratulations Brad!!
What a well deserved honor to be named Mr. Basketball.
Can't wait to watch him in a Xavier uniform.

It's been a while since X had a flat-out shooter; I hope he's the guy. That type of player seems like he's always hurt us, so it would be nice to finally have one on our side.

Carroll, Lisch, Diener are all nice shooters to fill a void. I am hoping that after a few years, he moves up a level (or five) to the Stockton/Nash player.
No reason we can't hope. Wouldn't be the first guy to fall through the cracks and wind up with a stellar career.
Congratulations. Look forward to seeing him play inside/outside with Frease.

That is cool. I just e-mailed a copy of the article to all my Big 10 fan friends (mostly Buckeyes, and one IU and one Penn State) and told them they should be happy with us for getting him out of Michigan! Sure hope he pans out ... what an upside!

Speaking of Mr. Basketball, how many has Xavier had and who were they? I seem to recall that Justin Cage was the one in Indiana his senior year.

James Posey was Div 11 POY, I believe, in Ohio.
Duncan was POY his junior year.
Johnny Wolf was co-player of the year.
Cage, as you said in Indiana.
I don't know for a fact, but i have to believe that Larkin was POY.
Edwards was POY in Deleware, if I recall.
You are taxing my memory, so I would think that somewhere out there, a list could be retrieved.

All those now jog my memory. Also not sure about Larkin. I remember he came in extremely well regarded ... duh!

I'm pretty sure Dave Young was Mr. Basketball of Pennsylvania. Michigan's list of past winners is pretty impressive.
