Musketeer Madness

I've never started one of these before but I figured it would come in handy for tomorrows game.

I'll go with the easy one.

I hate St. Joes because of their stupid mascot that never stops flapping.

Go Muskies!!!!

I hate St. Joe's because they blew their season by losing at Duquesne and losing to LaSalle and St. Louis at home. Otherwise they would probably be a lock for the tourney.

I don't hate anyone. I learned that at X.

And I have generally liked St. Joe's (except of course when they play us). They seem to have decent fans. But I do dislike the mascot. I think the Enquirer ran a poll a while back and asked whose mascot you dislike the most and I wrote in the hawk. I also dislike their arena but I guess they are trying to do something about that.

You totally disregarded the spirit of this post.

I like St. Joe's. We need more teams to be good like they are year in and year out with decent fans and good coaches.

I also like beating St. Joe's in the A10 Tournament... especially when they are undefeated, number one in the country, and by 20 points!

I actually cannot think of anything to dislike about St. Joe's. Martelli is an especially likable coach, he never gets the best recruits and his players are not really all that talented (with the exceptions of Nelson and Marvin O'Connor a few years back) yet they still seem to be competitive every season. I do not hate St. Joe's.

Again, missing the whole spirit of this post.

I like STJ as a program as well, but we must chastise and berate them until Xavier beats them tomorrow. Please do not jinx this team by ignoring the good karma that is normally created by the "I Hate" post.

They were showing all the mascots that have been in fights because of the ORU and IUPUI game, and they showed a fight between the hawk and Rhodie. The hawk was walking up to Rhodie talking smack, but he was still flapping his wings the whole time. It was one of the funniest things I've seen.

somebody, the thread is a historical thread (tongue in cheek) which was used before X played any team. It was first used about two or three years ago and worked so well at that time that it became legend. Our resident fireman might have been the first but I could be wrong on that fine point.
