Still a 3, A-10 gets 3

Per Lunardi, Xavier still a 3 in DC. He has St. Joe's 11 (and not one of the last 4 in) and Temple as a 13 and the very last team in. By his calculations, Temple needs to win today to get in, but St. Joe's may have room to lose and still get in.
He also has UMass as the first one looking in, so a Temple loss may burst their bubble, but it may put UMass in . . . of course, that is assuming Lunardi has some crystal ball that sees into a certain hotel room in Indianapolis.

That second round against AZ or Vandy scares me a little. A lot of size and good shooting. A repeat of yesterday gets us smacked in round 2. Hoping for a tourney-resurgence like last year instead! (although we lost....)

Last night he said a 4 maybe he had time to sleep on it. How he is right because xuben has done a lot of ciphering and says the same thing.

We'd all love to see that, but 19-11 (10-7) Kansas State is clearly a bubble team, and 15-12 (5-12) Virginia ain't going anywhere, so we're not likely to face that level of competition in the NCAA.

K ST and UVA may not make the tourney but that doesn't take away from our dominating performances against both.If we play like that for 4 games,I'll see you at the Final Four.

I agree, and I hope to God we're at the Final Four.
But if some are going to say that SJU's heart and talent in part led to our poor performance last night, we have to allow that K-State and UVA's lacking the same heart and talent in part led to our great performances earlier. Fair is fair.

Jerry Palm's latest bracket, which has X at a 3 playing the dangerous Winthrop (I'm not kidding), and then a 2nd round game against the winner of Butler/So. Alabama.
