D C specifics

What fun it was watching the team at Sean's tonight, and landing a three seed...great day for the Muskies!
So, we (Mrs. X hoops and I) are going to DC this week...where is everyone staying? I know nothing about Washington...is there a hotel near the Verizon Center? Where is the team staying? Can we meet for a drink?

A group of about 10 I know of are staying at the Washington Court Hotel. I challenge all muskie fans to turn their lobby bar into the Embassy Suites in Hotlanta in 04'
It is a couple blocks from verizon center and they are running a special right now at 112 a night which is the cheapest I have found. It is on their website.

Red Roof Inn on H st 2 blks from Verizon Center . It has a bar. Thursday $109, Fri/Sat $99.

Tickets bought on stubhub and reservations have been made at washington court.
