SJU-lost by 8

5-2 early (by an average of 29 pts. in the wins)
1-3 late

Hate to say it, but I think this supports my thought that X was playing its best ball earlier, and has not been at out best in months. Don't know what that will mean on Thursday, but I'm holding my breath (figuratively).

I believe X will regain their form from early in the year. The end of the season did not mean much. Win or lose against SJU at the end had no effect on the seeding. The key thing was to get through it healthy and we did. Now that the games mean something I figure Sean will have the team leaving it on the floor. XU all the Way!!!!!!!!!!

No need to worry. 2 of Xavier's losses were when the other team was desperate and had to win. Xavier has a very easy bracket and will roll Georgia on Thursday and then take out Baylor who will beat Purdue. If you ask me the A-10 was very underrated this year and that fact that Xavier went 14-2 in the league should tell you how good they are. Georgia went 4-12 in a very weak conference so that is all you need to know about them.
