Musketeer Madness

Well fellas are you surprised we are still in the dance. We weren't supposed to make it to next week according to your report. Seems we didn't have that "go to guy" and our scoring by committee just doesn't work for the tournament. I guess what you didn't notice probably due to your heads being up the Big 6's a**'s is that we have numerous "go to guys." Purdue found that out today. Huggy will learn on Thursday and then we show K-Love how the Muskies play ball. Two down four to go!

C'mon A4X, the fellas are a little down because their main dude, Coach J plus one letter, lost today! You know, the guy (and team) who was on their network every F-ing week, no matter who he played???

Cut them some slack.....maybe Roy Williams will give them solace from the storm.

To be fair, Bilas commented one a few shows that Xavier was one of the 3-or-below seeds that could and would make some noise.

And Digger also showed quite a bit of respect.

Give it a rest already. Bilas made some comments last year and we're still worrying about them.

If you paid attention this year, Bilas has given lots of respect to X and, I think, picked them to go to the Elite 8.

Rip on Dukie V all you want though. He's one of the biggest names in college hoops and is supposed to be so in tune with everything going on. Unfortunately he really knows only the Big 6 and some others that get loads of hype like Memphis. That being said, a lot of that could be the result of his job. Think about it. ESPN doesn't send him to cover a Rhode Island/Duquesne game. He gets the biggest cards and those are usually dealing with the power conferences. This year, with his layoff, should have been a little different, but who knows what he was doing during that time. Hopefully he was watching more of college basketball than just the BCS conferences. Of course, maybe he was just relaxing and trying to recover from surgery.

Digger...well, I like the guy but I don't think he's very good. Solid, but nothing spectacular.

Speaking of "expert" analysts, how about Billy Packer? A week after calling out the selection committee chair on national TV and chastizing him for "only" picking four ACC teams, the committee looks pretty good now. At least Billy still has UNC to fall back on, but no one else. Miami looked good at times against Texas, but Clemson choked big time and Duke looked terrible twice. Come on, Billy admit it--the ACC was just plain bad this year!
