They will be meeting in a quarterfinal in Columbus.

Should be a fun game with a lot of local interest (read "animosity").

I noticed Chris Wright played tonight. I guess depending on how you feel about both teams it is either a win-lose or a lose-win situation. I guess if I was forced to chose I pick dayton.

All the crap with Dayton should be a non-event on this board. With all due respect to Dayton, they have lost to X in 15 of the last 18 times. Their fans are unrealistic but being part of the A-10, I would have loved to seen Dayton and Rhode Island in the A-10 final. X is clearly the most talented team in the A-10 and have carried the flag for the last 10 years for the most part. I wish the other teams would continue to get better. Dayton winning could only be good for X and the A-10.

I for one will be rooting for the Flyers to win this game. I hope they don't have to play on that volleyball court that Cal had to play on.

How about a Dayton-UMass final?

I live in Columbus and can't stand the Buckeye fans. I have actually had people ask me "where Xavier is?".
I hope THE OSU makes it too the finals of the NIT only to loose to FLORIDA....AGAIN.

Putting everything else aside we need to support UD on this one - A-10 all the way - made easier by the Buckeyes being on the other side.

Who cares, the NIT is irrelevant...50 years ago it was the deal, now teams sometimes turn invites down. Lets worry about WVU and let the UD's of the world enjoy the NIT.
