It's Official..greatest Xavier Team Ever

You can argue til the end of time, more talent on other teams, beat more top teams, but this IS the greatest team ever at Xavier. And I don't think we are done.

I'll second that Carlos.I've felt that way since mid-season and this proves it.

I think "greatest" is deserving. The most talented team was probably the '90 Sweet-16 team that had three future, long-time NBA players in Tyrone Hill, Derek Strong and Aaron Williams. In terms of success, though, it's this team and the '04 team. The '04 team was clearly more explosive the latter part of the season (don't forget the 30-point drubbing of undefeated St. Joe's), but this team is much more balanced and consistent. Let's hope this team makes it undebatable by winning Saturday.

Boy, that's a tough call, but in a good way. As posted above, you can argue (and I would agree) that the '90 team was the "most talented", but certainly the '04 team and this year's squad went farther.

This team has won the most games, but the '04 team was just so friggin' hot down the stretch, and playing so well, that I don't know if I can say which team is better (at this point).

This isn't to slight either team in any way; it's always good when you're trying to decide which team is the greatest, and there's no wrong answer.
