12 seconds left in regulation and X has one time out left. Lavender walks the ball up. Huh? All we need is two. How about setting up a play after a t.o.? No, the Muskies get a forced bad shot. Everyone I watched the game with wondered what Miller was thinking (or not thinking).

Duncan saved X's butt in the second half. Awesome performance. From my vantage point, Xavier played 1/4th of a good game but after 10 minutes in the first half, it looked bad.

The clutch threes by Lavender and Raymond (one after the heads-up in-bounds pass by Burrell) in OT showed the Muskies can win ugly (even with 60 percent from the line0.

A win is a win,,,,not so nicely done though!

If they win the NC and make a mistake at the end of the game but still win will you continue to piss into the wind?

I have to agree that I was surprised we didn't call something better at the end. I can understand not calling a TO because, to be honest we can struggle inbounding the ball at times and a TO allows WVU to set up the defense and maybe get a steal. But I was puzzled with how we finished regulation. Of course, I'm sure there are many coaches that would say Lavender is the playmaker so put it in his hands and see if he can win it.

Regardless, we won and X is Elite again!
