He knows he can win a National Championship at Xavier, and he knows he is bringing in the talent to do just that.

Taking absolutely nothing away from these guys, but in the next few years, we will have some of the most talented Xavier teams EVER, and Sean won't be saying "we took it as far as I thought we could."

The Final Four will happen with Sean at the helm!

SEAN will take X to the PROMISE LAND

I agree that Sean Miller can take Xavier to the Final Four and or win the FF. But try also to remember one other thing, if you look at all the college coaches in history, there are many great coaches that did not make it to the FF or even win it. And then you have a coach that does not coach any games the whole season, but wins every game in the FF tourney, Steve Fisher of Michigan. So, it is a hard thing to do...get to the FF. But i believe Sean Miller can do it.

MUSKETEER GLADNESS..we must appreciate the wins, it's not an annual, automatic given...good point of steve fisher...a lot of things have to fall in place for success

Only one team is going to end its season with a win (ok, two more if you count the NIT and that other tournament). The Elite 8 is HUGE, and we've done it twice in 5 years. From 65 teams to the last 8 still standing is no small task. A few hundred teams would gladly change places with us. This program has arrived!

The key is to get that one seed upset in the early rounds like X could've done against OSU or Texas A&M could have done against UCLA. I think if we had taken out OSU last Year an elite 8 or Final 4 was in the cards. If A&M would have knocked out UCLA we'd be heading to SA...I know theres a lot of ifs involved but getting that 1 seed out of the bracket is huge.

To get to the Final Four requires skill and a little luck.When UC went in '92 they were a 4 seed and never played a higher seed.If Texas A&M beats UCLA last week maybe we're still playing.Bottom line is we are one of the top 8 teams but not in the top 4.I can live with that.

I was really down on Sean his first couple of years, and I admit I was wrong. I've really come to like him, his demeanor, and will note that he is an EXCEPTIONAL recruiter.

All of our previous coaches had head coaching experience prior to being the head coach at Xavier. Sean was the exception. It's been enlightening to watch him grow into the positon. Kinda like watching a good freshman with potential turn into a stud senior.
