According to Doug Tifft at the Xavier Newswire. He has been talking to the new recruits and Miller, so he is pretty reliable. It looks like someone is going to transfer after all, and Miller seems to already have someone lined up to fill in his scholarship. The incoming recruits don't seem to be upset about it, they all seem to be under the impression that if this new guy can help the team then they are all for it.

You can never have enough PG's, and this will (hopefully) allow Jackson to concentrate on the SG spot, which is where he should be, and Redford as well.

The PT will sort itself out, but going through the season with only one PG is a highwire act that we won't have to do next year.

I'd have to say Graves is the odd man out, as there's just too many guys in front of him, and he's got two years left. There's not much point in Bronson transferring, unless he goes to a Div. II or III school, starts for his final season, and gets the chance to put up decent numbers.

I'd tell Bronson that he could fill the role that Jason Love filled this year in terms of giving X significant and valuable minutes off the bench, while giving Frease time to develop.

Word is (from a reliable source) that Graves and Bronson will BOTH be transferring. not sure where or when, but it WILL happen.

If that's the case, then I wish both of them well, and hope they find the school that's best for them.

i'd be disappointed to see graves transfer. all year miller talked about how he was the best shooter on the team in practice, even though it didn't show in games. who filled that role the year before? bj raymond. there's no guarantee that any of the freshmen guards will be better than graves. i really think he could step up big next year if he stays.

If Graves and Bronson leave, don't be surprised to see another guy added to the '08 class, most likely a big man.

That would be a huge freshman class.

According to Dow Bronson will transfer to a DII school and Graves will be staying. Xavier will not add anyone else to the team. I am glad Adrion is staying and he can be a factor if he can improve his defense. I really don't think Adrion wants to leave the area and I think he really likes Xavier University.

Dow's suggesting that Bronson could end up at NKU, which would actually be kind of cool. Good luck to him. In years past, he would have played a bigger role in Xavier's rotation.
