Vee,
what a difference a year makes. Last year, Sean got zero, zip, nada, 0000000 votes in this poll. How about that, sports fans?
Oh, and you'll notice they got his salary increase wrong. That $350,000 number was his first as head coach. The second number was his salary before the 10-year contract. With perks etc, he's over $1-million.

q, you have seen a lot of coaches over the years in all kinds of sports. Sean is the kind of guy that strikes me as someone who is more committed to finding a place that he likes, where he can teach and make a good living for his family. He says in the artlcle how much he's like his dad. If so, then I am not really worried about him leaving since his dad coached at Blackhawk HS for 45 years.
I would be interested to hear what you have to say about Sean in this regard and if there are any coaches that you've met that Sean is most like.

Miller's certainly deserving of the award, but haven't posters on this board said what a lousy paper the Columbus Dispatch is, primarily because of its pro-OSU coverage? So, now we like it because it gave Miller an award? Interesting.

Get it straight for a change. The Columbus Disgrace didn't give the award pal .. The Ohio Colleges Coacxhes voted him the award.
And here's a funny ... whatshisname got six points. You get three points for a first place vote. He got two first place votes ... wonder who gave him the second vote .. knowing he gave himself one of 'em ....
Just a funny 'cause probably coaches couldn't vote for themselves....but I'll check that out.
Him getting any votes is funny in itself!

Get right on this, Inspector Clouseau! Investigative journalism demands that someone track down this big story, and you're just the guy for it!

I know AD normally speak highly of their coaches but I liked the comment by Mike:
"The thing is, Sean takes zero time to promote himself. It's all about Xavier.""
