This is nice to see as they make an Assist. Head coach to step in to the position if the head coach leaves. Not a guarantee but it could be significant in the future.

How dare they. Do they not understand that there are dozens of posters on MM emphatic that Sean will soon leave Xavier for job XYZ, or at least Pitt?

Ain't going nowhere guys .. we've got a guy we love (well, 99% anyway) and a guy who loves us.

Well if Miller did leave for Pitt, this Herrion guy sounds like he would be a good fit for XU.

It seems weird that Dixon would do this now. Has he ever had an associate head coach under him before?

It may be an acknowledgement of Herrion's experience, and it ensures that Pitt has someone ready to step in if and when Dixon leaves.

It's said that any good organization has a succession plan in place, so this move seems to fit that description.
